About Lume Labs

Lume Labs was founded by Daniel Nevius, a Harvard-educated space technology entrepreneur, who was named Forbes 30 under 30 (North America) in Science, and who founded Hedron - a startup that was one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies in the World in 2019.

At Lume Labs, we are seeking to equip the next generation of students with the skills necessary to drive innovation and make a positive impact on the world.

We believe that STEM education should be rigorous and future-focused. Our programs in space, robotics, and artificial intelligence are designed to ignite curiosity and creativity, and are designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world innovation.

Our goal is to prepare students to lead in an ever-evolving technological landscape—helping them not only adapt to the future, but empowering them to build it.

Lume Labs is the STEM arm of Black Whale - an ed tech company that will be launching this year.
