Teaching the technology of the future

Lume Labs was founded by a Harvard-educated space engineer and entrepreneur with a career dedicated to developing cutting-edge technology solutions for government, industry, and society.

Lume has been built to inspire and equip the next generation with a strong foundation in the technologies driving the future economy, including robotics, artificial intelligence, and space systems. We’ve seen firsthand how early exposure to these technologies and industries shaping the future can ignite curiosity, build confidence, and give students an exciting vision of what they can achieve - sparking ambition and a sense of purpose in their education.

As part of BlackWhale Group, Lume Labs is our first step in building a broader ecosystem of resources and support to prepare future engineers, entrepreneurs, scientists, and policymakers for the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Our programs are led by industry professionals, PhD- and master's-level robotics and computer science experts, and experienced educators - ensuring students learn from the very best in the field.
